Baby Shower Invitations

I was recently commissioned to create matching baby shower invitations and thank you notes. Here are the three samples I came up with and the winner was the purple and green. I have made 50 cards over the last few days and I think that they turned out very pretty. Enjoy!

My mom got this set for me and I think it is absolutely adorable. The coloring takes quite a bit of time but it sure turned out cute.

I won this fun set in a drawing. It is not something that I would typically pick, but I loved the end result!

Shrinky Dink Fun

If you were a child of the 80's you will remember shrinky dinks. Well, after getting the idea from a fellow stamping friend and imput from my creative mom, I came up with these fun cards using shrinky dinks.

I love this stamp set!! Each stamp has a cute little animal and a clever pun. I really enjoyed making these cards!

Welcome To Sweet Correspondence

Hello! Welcome to Sweet Correspondence. This Website is to display my handmade and handstamped greeting cards. How did Sweet Correspondence come about? Well, I love to be creative and play with design and color. I have been making handmade greeting cards since I could hold a pencil. (They have become more sophisticated over the years-thankfully!) In the last several months I have sent all of my dear friends and family several cards with personal notes and also gift sets so that could send notes to their own friends. After much encouragement from my friends and my hubby, and after much prayer, I decided to make my cards available to the public.

I feel that letter writing has become a lost art in our fast-paced American society. What a blessing it is to receive a card or letter in the mail amongst all the bills and credit card applications. I know many people who would love to sit down and make a special card for a loved one, but do not have the time or the resources. As a stay at home mom and part time college instructor I do have some spare time. I decided to use the extra time and resources that the Lord had provided me with to create Sweet Correspondence.
